Hawaii volcano erupting

Featured Activity: Hawaii Forest and Trail Volcano Tour

You won’t want to miss this exciting, once-in-a-lifetime visit to Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park where Kīlauea Volcano is putting on a show in its Halemaʻumaʻu crater. The volcano began erupting in Halemaʻumaʻu in September 2021 and Hawai`i Forest and Trail’s Volcano Tour provides visitors with spectacular views of the eruption, day and night, from safe viewing areas. The tour is a journey through Hawai`i Island’s incredible range of ecosystems and climate zones before you experience first-hand the phenomena that makes it all possible – an erupting volcano. Hawai`i Forest and Trails’ National Park Certified Guides take guests off-the-beaten path to sites which provide the best observation points, sharing along the way a mix of natural and cultural history about the island’s formation, illuminating the stories behind the ever-changing landscape of this island. For reservations, visit Hawai`i Forest and Trail’s website, or call 808.331.8505.
