High Value Service

by | Oct 25, 2023 | Blog, Resorts | 0 comments

These days, consumers are more value conscious than ever and never more than in the real estate market. Homeowners are quick to point out the commission real estate agents make and want to know they are REALLY getting value in return. A lot of agents either can’t or don’t express their value proposition to the client. Still others talk about their exceptional service or their attention to detail, and yet many times that falls short. Sadly, we’re currently living in a time and place where service seems to have been forgotten. No point in providing service when you could just have it automated or have people fend for themselves…right?

If you’ve been to our website or have seen our marketing, you’ll know we talk about the Hawai`i Team offering a white glove or concierge level of service – one you wouldn’t get anywhere else. What does this really mean? Is it just a catchy slogan or marketing idea? Let me give you an idea of just a few of the ways we go above and beyond your expectations when you become a client of The Hawai`i Team.

Junk Removal – We will hire a crew to go to your home and haul off old lawn furniture and unwanted junk. With a little extra planning, we can offer to take old paint cans and batteries to the local environmental disposal center. Everyone has old paint cans haunting their garage. A fringe benefit is that many people start decluttering because they are considering selling. We can handle that too! Or let’s say you need stuff shipped back to the mainland; we’ll contact the shipping company, meet them at your home, get everything packed up and safely shipped off.

Family Photos – Let’s say you are coming to the Island, and you want to take some once-in-a-lifetime family photos. We’ll hire a professional photographer and provide free family portraits. This works best at events like graduations, family reunions, and holiday celebrations.

Home Photos – Let`s say you just finished a new remodel or just had a landscaping overhaul and want to take some professional photos of the house. We’ll send out one of our photographers to take a portfolio of shots. And, if by chance somewhere down the line you decide to sell, we have captured your house when it’s looking its best.

Free Classes – Want to dominate your pickleball league but don’t want to pay for lessons? No problem. Pickleball is our game and we’ll give you lessons at no charge at our courts at The Fairmont Orchid hotel in the Mauna Lani Resort.

Home Care – Need help with any of the following: window cleaning, batteries for smoke detectors, replacement AC filters, and gutter cleaning? No worries, we’ll handle it for you at no charge.

Property Tax Help – In Hawai`i, battling property tax appraisals is a fixture on the Hawai`i Team’s value-added list. You’ll need data to fight the county and in some cases an attorney. We’ve got you covered in both areas.

Once again, I want to stress that all of the services we provide are FREE to you. We don’t want to be your realtor for just one transaction. We want to be your realtor for a lifetime. We want you to be raving fans of The Hawai`i Team, so you tell all your friends, family and colleagues about the work we do on the Big Island of Hawai`i. I don’t want white glove, concierge level of service to be a slogan. I want it to be reality.

Finally, if you’re interested in any of the services we’ve mentioned above (even if you are not a client), please send me an email at dan@thehawaiiteam.com. While you may not be a current client of ours, there’s always the possibility YOU WILL be one day, and we hope to earn your business.

“What Am I Paying For?”

September Market Sales Statistics

August Sales Statistics for the Big Island Resort Areas

Resort real estate sales were slow in the month of August, perhaps partly a reflection of the flat visitor numbers during what is normally a fairly active month for vacationers. There were just four condo sales and four home sales to end the summer. Home sales were...

I Thought Service in This Country Was Dead, Until…

By Dan Polimino OK, I’m guilty. Maybe I threw in the towel too fast. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve uttered the phrase, “can you get me your supervisor,” because I was getting nowhere with Customer Service. I really thought customer service is completely dead in...
