June Home Sale Statistics in the Resort Areas of the Big Island of Hawaii

Though the number of sales for the month of June were light, the sale/current prices are near to or, in some cases, exceeding 100%. Waikoloa Beach Resort led the way in sales for the month of June with nine condominium sales; Mauna Lani followed with seven condo sales. In the single family home market, there were two closings at Kūki`o and one closing at Kohanaiki.


Kohanaiki

Single Family Homes – There was a lone home sale in June at Kohanaiki, closing at $6.55M, or 100% of the Sale/Current Price. The residence had zero days on the market and the price per square foot was $2,255.

Condominium Sales – There were no condominium sales in Kohanaiki in June, below are the stats for May 2023.


Kūki`o

Single Family Homes – There were two home sales in June at Kūki`o. These residences sold for $9.25M and $16.25M respectively and averaged 350 days on the market. The sale/current price was 101.30% and the price per square foot was $3,071.

Condominium Sales – There were no condo sales from March through June, below are stats for February 2023.


Hualālai Resort

Single Family Homes – There were no single family home sales in June, below are the stats from May 2023.

Condominium Sales – There were no sales in May or June, below are the stats from April 2023.


Waikoloa Beach Resort

Single Family Homes – There were no single family home sales recorded in Waikoloa Beach Resort from May 2022 through June 2023, below are the stats from April 2022:

Condominium Sales – The strongest sales activity in June happened at Waikoloa Beach Resort with nine condo sales ranging in price from $884,000 to $1.185M. The units were on the market for an average of 48 days and sold for an average of 97.83% of the Sale to Current Price. The average price per square foot was $771.


Mauna Lani Resort

Single Family Homes – There were no home sales in March through June, below are stats for February 2023.

Condominium Sales – Condomium sales continued strong at Mauna Lani Resort during June, with seven closings. Sale prices ranged from $1.030M to $2.825M, averaging 98.96% of Sale/Current Price. The units were on the market for an average of 28 days and the price per square foot averaged at $1,027.


Mauna Kea Resort

Single Family Homes – There were no single family home sales recorded from December through June. Below is the summary for November 2022.

Condominium Sales – There were no sales in May or June, below are stats from April 2023.


Kona Hills/Hualālai Vistas

Single Family Homes – There were no single family home sales in October 2022 through June 2023, below is the summary for September 2022.

There were no home sales in Kona Hills, below is a summary of the first six months of 2022.
