June Market Statistics for the Kohala Coast

Real estate activity along the Kona-Kohala Coast was quiet in June, with only a few condominium sales and no single-family home sales within the resort areas. The exception was Mauna Lani Resort, which was the bright spot with six condominium closings. Mauna Kea Resort also recorded two condo sales. Although no single-family homes sold within the resorts, one home in Hualālai Vistas sold after just 28 days on the market—at 100% of the list price. Overall, property prices have remained stable, with average days on the market under four months..

Mauna Lani Resort

Single Family Homes – There were no single family home sales in May or June, below are stats for April

Condominium Sales – Once again Mauna Lani led the way in condo sales on the Kohala Coast with six sales in the month of June. The units averaged 99 days on the market, bringing an average of 96.52% of Sale/Current price or $1,819,166.67. The price per square foot averaged $965.

Mauna Kea Resort

Single Family Homes – There were no home sales in May or June, below are the stats for April.

Condos – Mauna Kea Resort recorded the sale of two condos in June. The units averaged 22 days on the market and brought in an average of 97.25% of the Sale/Current price or $5,582,500. The average price per square foot was $2,167.

Kona Hills/Hualālai Vistas

Single Family Homes – Hualālai Vistas recorded the sale of one home in June for 100% of the Sale/Current price or $2.135M. The home spent just 28 days on the market and the price per square foot for land/building was $1,010.
