Featured Restaurant: Kai Eats + Drinks

Located on Ali`i Drive in the heart of Kailua-Kona, this oceanside eatery is open for lunch and dinner with a tasty selection of family favorites and an extensive bar. The menu has been updated to include an array of Italian specialties. While pizza, burgers and tacos have been highlights of Kai Eats+Drinks menu, along with 48 brews (maybe the biggest selection on the island) and some stellar mai tais, as the day ends the restaurant is transformed into a “relaxed Italian-coastal dinner spot right on Aliʻi Drive.” Their dinner menu, which includes fresh fish entrees and dry rub ribs, now features antipasta, salads, pastas, and Italian entrees like OssoBucco, Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Caccatoire, and Oven Roasted Branzino. All this while enjoying the sunset and surfer views across Oneo Bay.

Just come on in, no reservations are needed. The restaurant is located at 75-5776 Alii Drive, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740. Kai Eats+Drinks is open Monday to Friday, noon – 9 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 9pm. They also offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm, with a full espresso bar and breakfast menu. Kai Eats + Drinks guests receive 2 hours of complimentary parking at the Waterfront Row Garage next door.
