Kona Coast Luxury Home Sales Comparison

In a recent luxury real estate seminar presented by Title Guaranty some very eye-opening market trends appeared. With the onset and progression of COVID, buyers are leaving congested areas for paradise and they are coming here with cash, to the tune of plus 256% compared to the same time last year!

 

What will affect these trends going forward? The slide below gives buyers some insight into factors that may affect our luxury market in Hawai`i in the months and years to come. Another factor to consider is that Hawai`i has not really seen visitors from Asia and Europe in pre-pandemic numbers. When we begin to see these potential buyers coming back to the state, will we see our already low inventory levels cause prices to increase even more?
