The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing recently released an in-depth report of luxury home sales nationwide for the first half of 2022. In reading their analysis, it mirrors what we’ve been noticing here in Hawaii. In our recent blog posts and videos, we are seeing a cool down of the market, and by “cool down” we simply mean a return to a normal, yet robust, real estate market. In the Luxury Home Market Report, the takeaway is this:

In short, despite increasing inventory levels and the slowing of sales transactions, experts are very clear that buyers waiting for prices to plummet to pre-COVID levels are unlikely to witness a nosedive any time soon
