Located on the Kona-Kohala Coast, this 865-acre, Five-Star Four Seasons property features pristine white sand beaches and a black lava landscape. Hualalai Resort turned in one of the month's most impressive single transactions: one home sale at $16,500,000 surpassing its $15,750,000 list price and achieving 104.7% of the Sale/Current Price in just 11 days on the market. At $3,590 per building square foot and $554 per land square foot, it reflects the fierce competition for premier Hualalai inventory.

There were no condo sales in August. One condominium sale closed at Hualālai Resort in June. The unit sold for $5,410,000, slightly above its $5,400,000 list price, achieving 100.1% of the Sale/Current Price in just 4 days on the market. At $2,032 per building square foot, it reflects the continued premium buyers place on Hualālai’s Four Seasons-anchored lifestyle.

The luxury community of Hualālai Resort closed 16 transactions in 2025 – 7 condominiums and 9 residences. The average sales price was $15,065,000 for residences and $7,252,143 for condos – a Sale to List ratio of 96.63% of original list price. There was an average of 10 days on the market and the average price per square foot was $2,654.

Celebrate the diverse bird species found in Hawai`i at the 2026 Hawai`i Festival of Birds, October 24, in Hilo. This full-day event (9 am-5:30 pm) at the Grand Naniloa Hotel includes a Bird Fair, presentations exploring different areas of conservation and connection to the birds of Hawai'i, and expert guest speakers. There will also be a Silent Auction and a free Public Hour from 4:30-5:30 pm. Proceeds raised from this festival will support future Hawai'i Island Festival of Birds, plus the conservation work of the Hawai'i Wildlife Center and the Conservation Council for Hawai'i.
