Kūki‘o Golf and Beach Club is a private, residential equity club on the Kona-Kohala coast. Club membership is exclusive to residents and includes a full-service clubhouse, spa and fitness facility, dining, a 10-hole Tom Fazio-designed Short Course, and an ocean sports program. Statehood Day, or Admission Day, is a legal holiday in the state of Hawaii in the United States. Kūkiʻo delivered the month’s most dramatic headline: two estate home sales closed in June, with prices ranging from $21,500,000 to $21,999,999 and an average sale price of $21,750,000. Both sold with zero days on the market, reflecting the depth of pre-market demand at this exclusive private club community. Sellers averaged 86.35% of the Sale/Current Price — indicating meaningful negotiation at these price points — and the median price per building square foot was $5,038.

One condominium sale closed at Kūkiʻo in June. The unit sold for $9,999,999 — matching its list price at exactly 100% of the Sale/Current Price — with zero days on the market. At $3,679 per building square foot, it further underscores the ultra-premium pricing that defines this community.

The exclusive private community of Kūki`o recorded just seven sales in 2025 - 3 condominiums and 4 residences. Average sales prices were $21,975,000 for residences and $12,950,000 for condos – a Sale to List ratio of 87.72% of original list price. Average number of days to sale was 11 and the average price per square foot was $3,773.

Hula is for all ages, and on September 9th and 10th, the County Department of Parks and Recreation presents the Kupuna Hula Festival at the Outrigger Kona Resort in Keauhou. More than 250 kupuna (elders) from Hawai`i Island, Molokai, and Japan will perform. A free craft fair will be featured on the festival days from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. as well, with jewelry, fresh flowers, art, and local crafts. Doors open at 4 p.m.; showtime is 5 p.m.
