May Market Statistics Summaries

May showed fewer sales overall but the trend toward the purchase of condos available for vacation rental continues to show prominence with Mauna Lani and Waikoloa Beach Resort each with six condominium sales. Single family home sales were slightly higher in May, with five estate homes selling across the seven communities of focus.

KOHANAIKI

Single Family Homes – There were no home sales recorded in May. Below are April statistics

Condominium Sales – A single condominium sale recorded in the month of May at 100% of the Sale to Current price of $3.350M. The unit was on the market for zero days and the price per square foot of $2,063.

KUKI`O

Single Family Homes – Two home sales closed at Kūki`o during the month of May, one at a Sales Price of $15.5M and the second Sales Price at $21.25M. These prices were at an average of 89% of Sales to Current Price. The homes were on the market an average of 22 days with an average price per square foot of $2,635.

There are no Condo properties in Kuki`o.


HUALALAI RESORT

Single Family Homes – A single home sale was recorded in the month of May with the sales price at $9.5M, 82.6% of the Sales to Current Price. The home was on the market for 90 days, and price per square foot of $2,025.

Condominium Sales – Two condominium sales were recorded in the month of May after zero days on the market. Prices were at 100% of the Sales to Current Price. One unit sold for $2.6M and the second sold at $3.9M. Average price per square foot was $1,386.


WAIKOLOA BEACH RESORT

Single Family Homes – There were no home sales recorded in the month of May, April statistics are listed below.

Condominium Sales – Waikoloa Beach Resort recorded six condominium sales in May. The units averaged 23 days on the market and pulled an average of 101.3% of the Sale to Current Price. Sales Prices ranged from $821,000 to $1.495M, with a price per square foot averaging at $851.


MAUNA LANI RESORT

Single Family Homes – There were no home sales recorded in the month of May.

Condominium Sales – Sales on six condominiums closed in May with Sales Prices ranging from $1.375M to $2.9M. Number of days on the market averaged at 41, with an average of 99.4% of Sale to Current Price. Price per square foot averaged at $1,069.


MAUNA KEA RESORT

Single Family Homes – One home sale recorded at Mauna Kea Resort in May for 100% of the Sale to Current price, $6.9M, after zero days on the market. Price per square foot for the home was $1,751.

Condominium Sales – There were no condo sales recorded in the month of May. Below are stats for March.


KONA HILLS/HUALALAI VISTAS

Single Family Homes – Two home sale recorded in Kona Hills Estates in the month of May. The homes were on the market an average of 31 days and brought an average of 95.6% of the Sale to Current Price, with one home selling at $2.1M and the other at $2.15M. Price per square foot averaged at $797. There were no home sales in Hualālai Vistas.

There are no condo properties in Kona Hills/Hualalai Vistas
