Recently Sold Hualālai Resort Properties

Located on the Kona-Kohala Coast, this 865-acre, Five-Star Four Seasons property features pristine white sand beaches and a black lava landscape. Maunakea recently wore a mantle of winter snow, a reminder of Poliʻahu, the revered snow goddess who reigns over the mountain. The snows of Maunakea are deeply rooted in Hawaiian legend, centering on Poliʻahu’s presence at the summit. According to tradition, she was often in conflict with the fire goddess Pele, as the two vied for dominion over the sacred, cold, and often restricted heights. The mountain’s white winter cloak symbolizes the legendary struggle between fire and ice, with Pele ultimately retreating to the island’s southern regions, leaving Poliʻahu to reign supreme over Maunakea.

No homes have sold since November 2025. Two home sales were recorded in Hualālai Resort in October. Sales averaged 95.70% of the Sale/Current price or an average of $15M. Days on the market for the homes averaged 18 days and the average price per square foot, land/building, was $3,660.

Hualālai Resort started the year by recording one condo sale for 100% of the Sale/Current Price or $9.25M. The unit spent zero days on the market and the price per square foot was $2,590..

The luxury community of Hualālai Resort closed 16 transactions in 2025 – 7 condominiums and 9 residences. The average sales price was $15,065,000 for residences and $7,252,143 for condos – a Sale to List ratio of 96.63% of original list price. There was an average of 10 days on the market and the average price per square foot was $2,654.

The 31st Annual Kona Brewers Festival will be held Saturday, March 14 at the Marriott Courtyard King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel in Kailua-Kona. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kona Community Foundation, the event includes the early morning Run For Hops and a 1:30 p.m. Blessing by Kumu Keala Ching at the Ahuena Heiau. More than 15 breweries are scheduled to participate from around Hawai`i and the United States, and five Kona restaurants will be offering tasty bites to go along with the brews.
