Dolphin Quest, located on the grounds of the gorgeous Hilton Waikoloa Village on Hawai`i’s Big Island, is a wonderful sanctuary for the resident dolphins living there.
Dolphin Quest includes a huge saltwater Dolphin Lagoon, the Hilton Main Lagoon, and Dolphin Quest Village.
The Hilton is Dolphin Quest’s first location, opening in 1988. Since then, Dolphin Quest has been widely recognized as a leader in establishing large natural habitats for the animals, in accomplishing successful dolphin breeding programs, in developing innovative interactive dolphin programs that combine fun and learning for the animals and the people, and in promoting environmental stewardship.
People of all ages come to the resort to indulge their curiosity and interest in these marine mammals. They leave better educated about the animals and the importance of caring for not just the dolphins, but all marine life, and the health of the ocean.

Featured Restaurant – Lagoon Grill
True to its name, the newly opened Lagoon Grill overlooks the beautiful lagoon where dolphins play. Located in the Hilton Waikoloa Village at Waikoloa Beach Resort, the Lagoon Grill is known for its delicious burgers – beef or veggie -, salads, sandwiches and local bowls. Or, if you just need a snack and a beverage, Lagoon Grill has you covered with refreshing tropical cocktails (all your favorite flavors) and smoothies.
