Statehood Day, or Admission Day, is a legal holiday in the state of Hawaii in the United States. Average days on the market were 101 and the average sales price was $6,946,000 for residences and $2,081,691 for condos. This was a Sale to List ratio of 92.45% of original list price. The average price per square foot was $1,126.

Hula is for all ages, and on September 9th and 10th, the County Department of Parks and Recreation presents the Kupuna Hula Festival at the Outrigger Kona Resort in Keauhou. More than 250 kupuna (elders) from Hawai`i Island, Molokai, and Japan will perform. A free craft fair will be featured on the festival days from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. as well, with jewelry, fresh flowers, art, and local crafts. Doors open at 4 p.m.; showtime is 5 p.m.
